The Riverwood North Urban Renewal Project will involve the creation of modern, architecturally designed housing in a vibrant mixed community of approximately 650 new homes for social housing residents, as well as private owners, with a renewed emphasis on landscaped public spaces, green streets and the creation of a new Garden Plaza and Central Park.
The project will take advantage of a range of existing local support and community services, which include the recently refurbished Salt Pan Creek Reserve, the Riverwood Community Centre, and the new Riverwood Indoor Sports Centre.

About the Renewal Project
The Riverwood North Renewal Project involves the replacement of 150 older housing units with 150 modern social housing units for seniors, and approximately 500 units for private sale.
The aim of the project is to provide modern and safe accommodation which meets the needs of NSW Land & Housing Corporation tenants and to introduce private affordable housing, as well as improved facilities and open space for residents.
The Project objectives are to:
- create a livable integrated residential community
- deliver quality residential apartments
- create a strong sense of place and belonging
- revitalise community open spaces and improve connectivity to community facilities
- create new, clean, safe and welcoming environments

Project Vision
Payce Communities has developed an exciting vision for a new and revitalised urban village as part of its new Masterplan for the site which allows for:

Our goal is to make Riverwood North an urban renewal showcase for integrated development, urban design, social inclusion and community participation.
